Wireperson

Do you have experience with wiring up PCB units? I have a role based in Farnborough; this is a great role to join an extremely experienced company who build X-ray inspection, metal detection and general inspection systems.

This is a permanent position working 7:30 - 4:30 Monday to Thursday with an earlier finish on Friday around mid-day. You will be working closely with other colleagues such as test engineers to ensure the products are created on the projected time-scale and correctly. You will be expected to be able to hit the ground running with wiring up boards and use previous experience to work independently. Having a practical mind, you must be able to work under pressure in order to work to circuit diagrams.

What will I be doing?

You will be joining the wiring department when you will support completing the successful wiring of PCB boards which fit inside technology used in the inspection systems for the food, pharmaceutical and packaging industries

What do I need?

• Experience in panel or machine wiring is a must have.
• Knowledge of electrical components.
• Experience of electrical assembly.
• IEE wiring regulation 18th Edition is desired.
• The ability to find faults would be advantageous.
• Being practical minded.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

This is paying a basic salary of up to £30,000 annually. This package does include additional benefits such as: 25 days holiday + bank holidays, generous company pension scheme, discount scheme inclusion, gym discounts etc…
