Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity to join a renowned engineering company based in Aldershot, who specialise in custom-made rubber products. They employ advanced machinery for Injection, Compression, and Transfer moulding, utilising a wide range of natural and synthetic rubber compounds tailored to specific needs.
This is a long-term temporary role that will later offer a permanent opportunity for the right person! You will be allowed to develop your skills within a manufacturing environment where full training is provided.
The role is Monday - Thursday 7 am - 4:30 pm and Friday 7 am - 12 pm, offering full-time hours and a nice early finish on a Friday allowing you to kick start your weekend early.
As a Production Operative:
- You will be a self-motivated team member, flexible and willing to learn.
- Previous production experience is required.
- Formal qualifications not required.

Responsibilities of a Production Operative:
- Daily spraying and bonding of inserts. Jobs and quantities will vary depending on business trends and customer demands.
- Reporting any faults/issues to Team Leaders, Production Supervisor, or relevant department supervisor.
- Working safely with chemicals to strip rubber from inserts and when applying bonds to certain inserts.
- Monitoring machinery and equipment to ensure they are kept in a fully operational, safe, and clean condition.
Pay
- £11.44 an hour
