Software Engineer
Job Description
Do you have experience with PLC Programming with special purpose built machinery? I am looking for you to join an expanding electronics company in Portsmouth!We are currently seeking an additional Software Engineer to support our clients robotics and assembly lines. Working alongside their experienced team, this role is key to the continuous support of robotic manufacturing for the company's production processes. The key responsibilities for this role include: maintenance of software; PLC programming; maintaining Keyence vision equipment; assistance in integration of robotic systems into manufacturing; working alongside an experienced team of setter to maintain production output.
The hours of work are 8am to 4.30pm Monday - Thursday and a 3.30pm finish on Fridays.
Our client offers 25 days holidays plus Bank Holidays and an additional 3 days off over the festive period! There is also a yearly company bonus scheme and Life Cover (3x salary).
What you need:
Electronic engineering
PLC experience
Mitusubishi experience (desirable)
Experience of Ladder Logic, Structured Text and/or Function blocks
Good Communication skills
Team Player
