Head of Safety and Risk

We are looking for an individual to join a client of ours based in Surrey. This position is to be the Head of Safety and Risk in a fast-growing company. You will be expected to have had previous experience in being the main individual for the Safety and Risk within companies operating in the: Renewables, Oil & Gas, Chemical Manufacturing, Clean Energy, Power, and similar industries.

The Package: This role is paying up to £100k p/a, additional benefits include a performance related bonus, 25 days holiday, company pension scheme, medical insurance cover and more…

You will be leading a team of 14 across the UK office, being responsible for the overall performance, content and quality of all risk and safety works, acting as the technical authority and expert for several risk and safety services, leading projects from start to finish ensuring all logistics are completed adequately, support with workshop facilitation activities such as: HAZID, HAZOP, SIL and more.

What do I need?

• Previous director/head of experience across Safety and Risk within companies operating in the oil & gas, chemical manufacturing, renewables, or similar industries.
• Degree held within chemical or process engineering or similar degrees such as on Process Safety, Loss Prevention etc…
• Have experience supporting internal operations globally, representing the UK section.
• Experience within support new business development opportunities.
