Machine Operator

Would you like to work as a machine operator for a leading provider of moulding solutions, specialising in rubber mouldings? With a commitment to quality and innovation, you could be working for a friendly manufacturing company as a machine operator.

As a skilled machine operator, you could join a great team and operate press machines in a fantastic moulding facility. The ideal candidate will have experience operating press machines and a strong understanding of moulding processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the production of high-quality products.

Responsibilities:

• Operate press machines to mould products according to specifications
• Set up and adjust machine settings to ensure proper moulding processes
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain product quality
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure they operate efficiently
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
• Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and achieve production targets

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a machine operator, preferably in a moulding or manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operations
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent attention to detail and quality orientation
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM (45-minute lunch break). Friday: 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM.

Hourly Rate: £10.42 rising to £11.44 in April 2024.
