Are you an experienced Manual Machinist looking for a new job? We are currently looking to hire a Manual Miller/Turner to join a market-leading company in an exciting position in Havant. We are looking for a skilled individual who can bring their knowledge and experience to a place where it is valued.

Your new job would involve working on a variety of products including bespoke, made-to-order units for clients, as well as through the standard product range.

Skills:-

For this Manual Milling/Turning position, you will of course need to have experience of operating Manual Mills and Lathes; our client makes a wide variety of components for the marine industry in many shapes and sizes, so the wider the experience the better. This role would see you working predominantly with steel and aluminium.

Position:-

This job is on a long term on-going temporary contract. It therefore is a great opportunity to gain some valuable working experience in a market leading company, or to develop a career with long-term goals. Over time (paid at time-and-a-half) is available, as is the scope to move to permanent.

The working hours are 07:30 to 16:30 Monday to Thursday with a 12:30 finish on Fridays. The rate of pay is dependent on experience, and is between £13.39 and £13.94 an hour.
