Job Description

Do you have experience with mechanical and electrical maintenance? Do you have experience working with PCBs? Have you worked in a production or manufacturing environment? If so, this Production Support Engineer role is perfect for you!

This Production Support Engineer position is working for a manufacturer in Fareham. The working hours are 40 hours, Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm, with an early finish of 1:30pm on a Friday! The role is paying up to £36,000 depending on experience.

This role involves providing maintenance and support to the production team, ensuring production machinery is kept running and working as expected. The role involves carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance, using PLCs to fault find and also root cause analysis to diagnose issues. This role also involves testing and fault finding to PCB level. Some soldering, through hole assembly and work with electrical harnesses is also a responsibility within this role.

You will need:

• Experience with mechanical and electrical maintenance within production or manufacturing
• Experience with fault finding and root cause analysis
• Experience with PLCs
• Experience with fault finding and debugging and PCB and component level
• A keen eye to detail
• Great organisational skills
• Exceptional communication
