Job Description

Our client is a leading manufacturer specializing in servo motors for industrial applications. With a commitment to innovation and excellence, they continuously strive to deliver high-quality products that meet and exceed customer expectations. We are currently seeking a skilled Production Support Technician to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production line, focusing on total productive maintenance (TPM) and providing technical support to optimize efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities:

Provide second-level support for Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities in alignment with the maintenance plan.
Collaborate with cell leaders to ensure proper maintenance and calibration of all equipment.
Conduct product and process training sessions for production employees in coordination with cell leaders.
Perform basic front-line fault finding on equipment and products, escalating issues when necessary.
Record and address rework and scrap within production cells.
Address day-to-day technical problems within production cells promptly and effectively.
Collaborate with the New Product Introduction (NPI) and Engineering teams to implement new processes and lean improvements.
Rectify any damaged equipment within production cells to maintain operational efficiency.
Work closely with the Customer Feedback team to resolve quality issues within production cells.
Fulfill any other reasonable requests from supervisors or managers.


Qualifications:

Previous experience in a similar production support role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of maintenance principles, TPM methodologies, and problem-solving techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Proficiency in basic fault finding and troubleshooting techniques.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and take initiative to address challenges.
High level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety standards.
