We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to design and develop special-purpose machines tailored for automating the assembly, inspection, and packaging processes of electrical connectors. This position requires exceptional mechanical design expertise, leadership skills, and a track record of delivering successful engineering solutions.
Working Monday-Thursday 8-4:30pm and 8-3:30pm on Fridays. Competitive salary upto £50,000pa with additional benefits including 25 days holiday plus BH, Discretionary bonuses, pension contributions, life cover and more.
What do you need?
- HNC/HND in Engineering or equivalent
- Good Mechanical Design Experience
- Proficient in 3D software, Creo is desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience with designing machine with automation and robotics is desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
