Job Description

Are you an experienced Software Engineer looking for a new opportunity? Do you have experience with all elements of the software development cycle? If so, this Software Engineer position is perfect for you!

This Software Engineer position is working for a manufacturer just outside of Pulborough, situated within the picturesque South Downs National Park. The role is Monday to Friday, offering flexible standard office hours. The role is paying up to £55,000 depending on experience.

This role also comes with a number of benefits such as onsite parking, 28 days holiday including BH, flexible working hours, Pension scheme and also access to a bonus scheme.

This Software Engineer role will have a range of different responsibilities and duties. The successful candidate will be participating the software development lifecycle from the gathering and analysis of requirements to the design, coding and testing of the software. They will also be required to perform regular routine maintenance as and when required. The Software Engineer will also collaborate with colleagues, other departments and other designers to finalise software specifications. The role will also involve elements such as writing drivers, working with PICs and using PID.

You will need:

• Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle
• Experience with testing software and performing maintenance
• Experience with Embedded C and C++
• Experience with writing drivers and working with Microchip PIC.
• To stay up to date with software development trends, news, tools and technologies
• Demonstratable problem solving skills
• Demonstratable communication skills
