Job Description

Are you an experienced Test Technician with experience within manufacturing? Are you looking for a new exciting position with a growing company? Do you have an eye for detail and quality? If so, this Test Technician role is perfect for you!

This Test Technician role is working for an Electronics Manufacturer in the Portsmouth area. The working hours for the role are Monday to Friday on a day shift pattern. The role is also paying up to £26,000, depending on experience.

This Test Technician role has a variety of different responsibilities such as assembling test fixtures, connectors and cable assemblies. The role will also involve using different test methodologies to test products meet requirements. There will also be the need to programme and operate test equipment. During product investigations, there will also be the need to assist with the design of PCBs. With the company focused on development and growth, their will also be the expectation to seek continuous improvement and implement these improvements where possible. This role is has a direct influence on the design and launch of new products throughout the company!

You will need:

• Experience as a Test Technician or within a similar role
• Experience within an Electronic Manufacturing environment
• The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions
• A keen eye to detail
• Willingness to learn about production processes, product requirements and test specifications
