We are currently seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator for a 12 month fixed contract position in a modern, well-lit factory located in New Milton, just a stone's throw away from Lymington, Christchurch, and only 12 miles east of Bournemouth's city centre.

The hourly rate for this position is up to £14.30 per hour, this works out as £29,000 a year - there is also possibility to earn more on top of this via overtime.

This role has opened up due to the company's continued growth and winning new contracts, driven by an expansive and promising project that's now become a reality.

The ideal candidate will have experience in sheet metal fabrication and be proficient in operating various machinery including fly presses, setting machines, rollers, and guillotines.

Responsibilities:

• Operate brake press machinery to bend and shape sheet metal components according to specifications.
• Set up and adjust machinery to ensure accurate and efficient production.
• Utilise fly presses, rollers, and guillotines as needed in the fabrication process.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.

You will enjoy regular working hours from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, with a half-day finish on Fridays - 39hours a week.
